Group Financial Accountant

A brilliant global Advertising Agency is looking for a Group Finance Manager to join their team. They offer hybrid working, with amazing offices in central London. This will suit someone who ideally comes from an accountancy practice background with some experience in the Creative industry. The Role Working with the Financial Controller to oversee the statutory audit, liaising directly with the external audit teams and reviewing year end working papers prepared by the MAs. Being closely involved with the US Overseeing the prep of the statutory accounts and liaising with external accountants for the group Responsibility for global ta affairs, including leading on matters with HMRC such as corp tax, VAT returns etc, both in terms of managing submissions, but also training and supporting the team. Working both with the team and with external accountants as well as being the key contact for the annual audit along with the Financial Controller The Person Organised, structured way of working - able to manage multiple deadlines Great attention to detail, providing detailed, accurate work Enthusiastic about keeping up to date with the latest accounting standards/tax rules Able to maintain a good working relationship with both members of the internal team and the our external accountants Good communication skills both within and outside of the finance team Always seeking out improvements to the reporting process Collaborative team player Solution focused and proactive - able to work quite autonomously
