We’re looking for a Group Financial Accountant. Based at our Head Office Paddington location (Hybrid working model – minimum 2 days / week in Head Office) you’ll maintain accurate consolidated accounts in accordance with IFRS and the Group Accounting Manual, including preparation/review of consolidated financial statements. You will have a key role in Interim and Year-end external audit process.

What you’ll do:
Jointly responsible, with other members of the financial accounting team, for the following tasks:
Preparation of the consolidated financial statements in BPC, involving co-ordination, preparation, input and peer review of group adjustments
Maintain accurate records to support consolidation adjustments
Ensure all monthly deliverables are received from subsidiaries and key point of contact for site finance teams
Co-ordination of the preparation of the Annual and Interim Group Accounts
Preparation of certain sections of the Group Annual Report including the Directors’ Report and preparation of certain Head Office subsidiary accounts
Assist with preparation of Interim and Year-end external audit deliverables and timetable
ONS quarterly foreign investment returns
Compliance with Internal Controls including relevant balance sheet reconciliations
What do you need to thrive in this role?
ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant
Experience of group consolidation and statutory reporting
Good understanding of IFRS
