Recruit 121 is working exclusively with a fast growing, privately owned business looking to double in size over the next 2 years. My client is looking for a Group Financial Controller to join their senior finance team and help deliver strategic growth plans of the group.This successful manufacturing business has ambitious plans to continually grow through acquisitions, so you will ideally have experience in manufacturing, consolidation, acquisitions and integration. If you are a dynamic and driven accountant with a strong commercial background who likes working in a fast paced environment and can deliver many of the day to day functions of the finance team then please apply. This role is based 4 days in the office and 1 working from home, due to the nature of the industry.Responsible for timely, accurate and high quality monthly and quarterly reporting, focusing on continuous improvements and meeting business and stakeholder needs.Ensuring financial operations (Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Banking Operations & Treasury/Payroll) are managed effectively, focusing on efficiency.Understanding and reporting on financial performance, including commercial commentary that helps guide the business on key trends in order to help achieve or exceed our strategic goals and financial targets.Lead monthly financial reviews of UK and overseas subsidiaries with the relevant teamsWorking with Head of Business Partnering to deliver budgeting and forecast cycles ensuring the budgeting process runs efficiently and on time.Strong understanding of the business budgets and forecasts including how the changes may impact strategic targets.Developing strong relationships with the stakeholders in the business to become a trusted business partner.Designing, implementing and reviewing accounting controls including ensuring the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process operates consistently.Overseeing the annual audit process and liaising with external personnel as requiredDriving a culture of continuous improvement across the team, identifying opportunities and implementing efficiencies through better use of technology.Assisting the Group Finance Director and Head of Business Partnering on key strategic projects (e.g. M&A, restructuring, system implementation) or presenting Finance packs/analysis to senior management, the COO or the Board of Directors.Support and develop direct reports creating an environment which encourages continuous learning and development leading the development of the Group Finance capability. Group Financial Controller RequirementsACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 5 years PQEExperience working in a growing global business Strong experience in Financial systems and Excel which support both growth and the production management information.Ability to manage, coach and mentor and develop a high-performing, multi- site team to create an environment which encourages continuous learning and development within the Group Finance capability.Ability to make effective decisions and operate autonomously.Experience of risk mitigation through identifying and reducing key dependencies in finance processes and building in efficiencies.Ability to simply and clearly communicate financial information and processes in conversation, documentation and presentations.Mindset to challenge what we do and why**Active participation in knowledge sharing activities, both within the team and at a wider capability level and externally where appropriate.Reasonable travel as required.Role is office based, company culture.Generous Package including generous bonus, early finish Friday, health care and electric car scheme + others.If you are interested then please send me your CV ASAP
