Group Financial Controller Maternity Cover Antrim - Flexible Working £60,000 per annum + Bonus & Benefits Your new company Hays Accountancy and Finance are recruiting for our client who specialise in the distribution and supply of natural energy, and are looking for a Group Financial Controller to join their term on a maternity cover contract, and offer a wide range of benefits. Responsible for the management of all finance related activity. Be a strong communicator, coaching and leading the finance team to deliver high quality outputs. Support transformational change within the finance function and across the business. Lead on all areas of finance to support both the day to day running of the department as well as business goals and objectives. Identifying and implementing opportunities for cost saving, revenue generation and improved cash flows Implementation of continuous improvements across the finance function to gain operational efficiencies Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies The review, maintenance and development of financial policies and procedures Budgeting, forecasting and longer-term planning Taxation. Manage and support the finance function. Financial Compliance. Business Support (Internal and External) What you'll need to succeed A recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACMA, ACCA). Educated to a degree level in an appropriate discipline. At least 5 years post qualification experience working at a senior level. Analytical ability with experience in financial modelling. Experience in complex systems implementations with demonstrable experience in the delivery of new systems/processes to drive efficiency. Experience in working at the highest levels of financial management in a large complex organisation. Understanding business issues and drivers with the ability to analyse and resolve business issues quickly.
