We're searching for an exceptional
Group Financial Controller to take charge of our clients finance function, elevate their financial operations, and play a critical role in their company success. This is not just about keeping the numbers in check – it’s about

Your Mission
As our clients
Group Financial Controller, you’ll be the driving force behind financial excellence, leading a team of 40 finance professionals, including five direct reports. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you’ll ensure top-tier financial control, reporting, and compliance while pioneering improvements across the function. This is a
high-visibility, high-impact role that will put you at the heart of key business decisions.
What You’ll Own and Deliver- Lead with Authority – Build, develop, and inspire a powerhouse finance team that delivers results.
- Shape Financial Strategy – Provide critical insights and strategic direction to senior leadership, influencing major business moves.
- Master Financial Control – Ensure financial reporting, risk management, and compliance are nothing short of exceptional.
- Drive Operational Excellence – Take charge of financial systems, automate processes, and improve efficiency across the board.
- Be a Key Business Partner – Work alongside senior leadership, external advisors, auditors, and key stakeholders to drive success.
- Own M&A & Compliance – Play a pivotal role in acquisitions, integrations, and regulatory compliance.
What You Bring- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with a track record of financial leadership at scale.
- Proven success in financial control, reporting, and system transformation.
- A natural leader who knows how to inspire, mentor, and build high-performing teams.
- Expertise in IFRS, audit, payroll, pensions, and taxation (a plus but not essential).
- A sharp, strategic mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo.
- A resilient, hands-on, and solutions-focused approach to leadership.
