Elevation Recruitment Group's Senior Finance division are delighted to be working exclusively with a fantastic business based in Knottingley as they look to recruit a Group Management Accountant into their established finance team.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Group Management Accountant:
- Production and continual evolvement of the monthly management accounts and development of departmental overhead reports
- Implement and maintain key variance analysis
- Monthly analysis and understanding of standard to actual production variances
- Promote and deploy business intelligence tools from within the ERP system
- Provide accurate and timely management information to the key stakeholders within the business
- Work with within the finance department to ensure appropriate levels of financial control, covering areas such as stock integrity, annual stocktakes, product cost prices
- Assist the Financial Controller with various finance projects
- Prepare timely and accurate month end reports as required
- Be the go-to person for financial costing support for the managers within the business
- Liaising with key operational stakeholders to give key financial insights
- Apply best practice and lean methodology when resolving issues
- Part of cross functional teams to drive the business forward
Person Specification:
- Fully or part qualified CIMA/ACCA
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Extensive data analysis experience and understanding of financials
- Advanced level of Excel and ERP systems
- A strong understanding of stock and costing is essential
