Cleaner/Handyman/woman/person

Required for a large warehouse / office - Full time

We are looking to take a Cleaner/ Handyman/woman to manage the day to day tasks and duties required for our current premises . The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure that the premises are cleaned and maintained to a high level completing all necessary tasks.

Responsibilities:

• To undertake the cleaning and maintenance of all offices and training areas.


• Perform basic maintenance and repairs onsite


• Assisting/Monitoring contractors on site


• Conduct routine inspections to identify issues and recommend solutions


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas


• Clean outside areas as required


• Ensure stocks of required cleaning and sanitary products are held in sufficient quantities


• Inspect and maintain certain maintenance equipment and carry out minor repairs and report defects

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar role


• Solid knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail


• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively


• Good communication

Licences / certifications 

• COSHH - preferred but not essential


• Drivers Licence - preferred but not essential.

Pay: £12.44

Hours: 40 per week

• Day shift


• Flexitime


• Holidays


• Monday to Friday


• No weekends
