Think Community Partnership are seeking a skilled Handyperson to join a reputable Housing Association in Shrewsbury, providing essential maintenance services in key worker accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
General maintenance across multiple properties
Minor repair works (e.g., patching walls, fixing doors, etc.)
Fire alarm testing and safety checks
Changing lightbulbs, fixtures, and fittings
Basic plumbing tasks (desirable, but not essential)
Responding promptly to maintenance requests from tenants
Ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe and timely manner
Requirements:
Prior experience in a similar role (general repairs, maintenance)
Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
Knowledge of health and safety procedures
Basic plumbing skills (advantageous but not essential)
