Hardware Design Engineer - Oxford
Salary: �40,000 - �55,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
- Design innovative handheld and robotic sensor/mapping systems using CAD software
- Apply DFM and DFA principles for cost-effective production
- Produce prototypes, bills of materials, and assembly drawings
- Test prototypes with customers on-site
- Set up and test sensor drivers, calibration, and communications using Linux
Requirements:
- Expertise in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion360, NX)
- Experience with 3D printing and additive manufacturing
- Professional programming experience in C++ and Python
- Strong understanding of DFM and DFA principles
- Product development expertise
Desirable Skills:
- Electronic systems and circuit design knowledge
- PCB design experience
- Familiarity with handheld/robotic sensing devices
- Experience with robustness testing and design validation
- Linux, camera calibration, and sensor communication knowledge
