Key Activities
\n
\n- Development of electronic/electrical hardware through the whole product lifecycle in line with aerospace standard D0-254/ ARP4754A (design, verification, and qualification to support product certification)
\n- Solving of complex hardware engineering problems
\n- Produce documentation to support hardware design & certification solutions
\n- Hardware requirements management with traceability to design and test Hardware
\n- Qualification Management in line with aerospace standard DO-160
\n

Essential Responsibilities
\n
\n- Support HW verification activities, producing HW test procedure and HW test report
\n- Solving complex hardware engineering problems
\n- Work as part of a diverse disciplinary team
\n
\n
Qualifications / Requirements
\n
\n- Bachelor's degree in electronic/electrical from an accredited university/college or equivalent qualification or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
\n- Experience in development of HW electrical/electronic product in a safety critical environment (ideally gained in aerospace)
\n- Knowledge of product design and development activities including exposure to design for manufacture and test-methodologies
\n- Experience of working in a team environment delivering products to cost and schedule
\n- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Characteristics
\n
\n- An understanding of regulatory and safety requirements for safety critical products (ideally gained in aerospace industry)
\n- Knowledge of Electrical Wiring Installation System (EWIS) regulatory - A working knowledge of software and systems design - Ability to understand and be involved in all phases of the product development life cycle - You will be expected to play an active part in the design and development of new products from concept through to manufacture and beyond - Willing to participate in military product design
