My client is a Local Authority in the South West who are looking to appoint their Head Accountant on an Interim basis.

About the role:

Based in South West (Hybrid):

To provide strategic advice and to ensure the provision of comprehensive financial services across a wide range of disparate services.

What's on offer:

• Salary: �300+ per day, inside IR35.

*negotiable based on experience

• Hybrid working. 2/3 days a week.
• Contract type: Contract (37 hrs a week)
• Hours: 08:30 -17:00 Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• This will include the analysis of complex financial information; financial monitoring, planning and budgeting; financial advice on operational and strategic plans and their impact
• Closure of the financial accounts; and the implementation, review and improvement of financial processes.

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

• Qualified CCAB Accountant or Equivalent Relevant Finance Qualification.
• Extensive knowledge of one or more specialist and complex areas of either technical accounting or relevant sector knowledge.
