A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head Chef at a city centre pub in the heart of Liverpool. We are looking for a passionate individual who wants to embrace our culture, build, and train the team to deliver an amazing guest experience.
This role is perfect for a junior head chef looking to develop their skills and grow their career into some of our bigger venues in time, or a Sous chef looking for their first step into the Head Chef role.

The Primary Role
On shift Management of the kitchen team, dealing with large capacity and leading by example. Managing the team, ensuring we deliver an exceptional food standard through speed and efficiency.
Managing the team members journey from interview through to growing within the business, championing their knowledge, and developing people within the team
Ensure that all team members are fully trained and regularly appraised, in line with company standard.
Overseeing the kitchen team to ensure clear communication, consistent standards, quality control, full attention towards service & training, financial forecasting and control, maintenance and cleanliness standards are upheld.
Control Labour % in Kitchen Department
Curate staff incentives and training schedules
Ensure that HR Procedures are followed throughout the business, including company onboarding and recruitment processes.
Incident Reporting & Reviews
Management of Compliance Systems including Trail, Food Alert, CPL & Independent Pest Control
Liaising with Suppliers
