Head Chef - Bar Concept - Clapham
Our client is a distinctive Clapham bar which is looking for a Head Chef to run their kitchen. The bar is part of a small group of bars around London. Each bar has a unique concept and the group as a whole is thriving since its launch in 2021 now at 6 sites. The Head chef would manage a team of 2 other chefs and a kitchen porter.
This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who likes to cook with fresh ingredients to join a fun concept, cooking a varied menu for both a la carte and functions. It also presents the successful candidate to grow and develop with the company as it grows.
The ideal candidate will have:
A passion for cooking with fresh ingredients.
Experience as a head chef or sous chef ready to step up.
A professional and hard-working attitude.
Commitment and loyalty.
Being able to run a service confidently and efficiently in a restaurant which can range from 60-80.
Confidence when undertaking senior responsibilities such as ordering and stock control.
Good level of spoken English.
