Head Chef - Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality dishes.


• Develop and innovate the menu with authentic Italian recipes, seasonal specials, and creative flair.


• Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.


• Ensure food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards are met at all times.


• Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently.


• Collaborate with management to maintain budgetary goals and optimise kitchen operations.


• Uphold the restaurant's reputation for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Head Chef - Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fine dining or up-scale Italian restaurant.


• Experience with New Restaurant Openings.


• Deep knowledge of traditional Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavours (Essential).


• Passion for delivering exceptional Italian cuisine with a focus on quality and presentation.


• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.


• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.


• Experience leading a large team of different levels.
