Head Chef
We are looking to recruit a dedicated Head Chef to manage small kitchen team based in busy Conference & Events venue in Basingstoke.
Working from 6.30.00am to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday for an annual salary from £38k - £40k depending on experience. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, organised and committed individual. Our ideal candidate will be dedicated, have a passion for fresh food, and have a complete understanding of food safety management systems.
Essential
Experience of running a fresh food kitchen whilst maintaining highest standards.
Ability to lead and motivate teams
Have good control of food safety
Experience in managing all aspect of the day-to-day running of kitchens.
Creative with emphasis on presentation and flavour.
Experience of catering for a range of events i.e. working lunches, hot buffets/lunches, afternoon teas, drinks receptions and formal dinners (up to 100) together with daily in house café service.
Must engage positively with Sales and Front of House managers
