Head Chef - Duffield Bank House, Belper, Derby £22.26 per hour
40 hours per week
Monday - Friday
Shift Pattern 06:30-15:00/12.30-21:00
Flexibility is essential
UK Driver License- Preferable due to the location not being on any public transport routes
Please note- There is a Two Stage interview process, one of which will be a Trade Test We're currently recruiting an ambitious Head Chef to work in one of our prestigious locations. In this role you will be creating exceptional food experiences for our clients. You will be working alongside another Head Chef with equal responsibilities. Duffield Bank House is the Jewel in the crown of Rolls-Royce, the nine bedroom house is used to host Rolls-Royces most senior and important cliental, Executive team and board members. Duffield Bank House hosts up to 40 conference guests. With a 3 strong team of landscapers Duffield Bank House prides itself of using homegrown produce and where this isnt possible, using local produce from the surrounding area. Our chef team have free full autonomy over menu design and implementation, adhering to customer requests and dietary environments. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating an outstanding culinary experience. Your key responsibilities will include: Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
Identifying opportunities to improve our food service
Creating a positive kitchen environment where your team feel welcomed and supported
Delivering our tasty food concepts to our customers
Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
Ordering food, looking after stock control and controlling food waste
Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
Managing budgets and successfully meeting financial targets
Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
Complying with Health & Safety regulations
Our ideal Head Chef will: Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
Create a positive work environment where the whole team can thrive
Be a brilliant communicator and easily build relationships
Have experience in a similar Head Chef role
Strive for excellence in an enthusiastic and motivated manner
