Key Responsibilities:
Menu Development: Create and refine a dynamic, creative menu that reflects seasonal trends and local produce.
Daily Specials: Design and update a specials board that highlights fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Team Management: Recruit, train, and lead the kitchen team to achieve our culinary goals.
Procedures: Develop and uphold effective kitchen procedures, including opening and closing routines.
Food Hygiene: Maintain impeccable food hygiene standards in line with HACCP and health & safety regulations.
Profit Targets: Manage food costs and work towards gross profit targets.
What Were Looking For:
Culinary Expertise: Strong cooking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Leadership: Proven leadership and management abilities, with experience in a high-pressure environment.
Up-to-Date Knowledge: Awareness of current food safety legislation and a Level 3 Food Safety Award.
Inspiration: Ability to inspire and develop a high-performing kitchen team.
Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with others.

Hours
Full-time role, working 5 days out of 7 or 4 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays. As our team grows, there may be opportunities for increased flexibility.
