Our clients are looking to recruit a head chef for this busy garden centre cafe/restaurant, offering all day dining from homemade cakes, breads and sweet treats though breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon teas to come in and head up the talented team

This venue in operated by a forward thinking independent company who offer guests high quality food, and service, and consistently strive to exceed the expectations of the clients in this prestigious venue

The Ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Experienced Head chef with a minimum of 3 years experience, able to show drive and creative flair.

Must have experience heading up a busy fresh led kitchen, be it in a similar style cafe/ restaurant gastro pub or hotel

Experience in menu development & costings.

Bakery skills a must

A good understanding of P&L accounts, stocks, compliance and KPIs

Self-driven and proven leadership skills

Experience in developing and training staff.

Have a professional, outgoing and positive personality with excellent interpersonal skills

A professional and confident demeanor is essential, as is the ability to show the company ethos & high standards every day in service & management.

Understanding of the latest H&S guidelines and procedures.

Be able to lead by example to ensure your high standards filter through the kitchen team

Have the ability to self-manage and the ability to adapt and improvise to changing situations.
