Head of Business Development and MarketingBlue Legal are pleased to be working with a renowned boutique Law Firm situated in the heart of London. Our client is looking for a Head of Business Development and Marketing to join them on a part-time basis (2 or 3 days). This is a unique opportunity to become a key player in a firm that values culture, collaboration and conscientiousness at a pivotal time of looking for strategic growth. The Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and execute business development (BD) and marketing strategies, aligning with the firm’s growth objectives.Strategic Guidance: Provide firm-wide strategic guidance to identify and pursue new BD and marketing opportunities, including targeting specific markets, sectors, and clients.Relationship Development: Partner with firm leaders to identify and cultivate strategic relationships that advance the firm’s goals.Performance Tracking: Implement and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of BD and marketing strategies and fee earner performance.Budget Management: Develop and oversee the firm’s BD and marketing budget, ensuring optimal return on investment and alignment with strategic objectives.Brand and Marketing Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of the firm’s brand, marketing, and communication strategies, including digital marketing, to enhance brand awareness and support business growth. Operational Collaboration: Work with the Management Committee and Heads of Function (Finance, People, IT, Operations) to recommend and implement business solutions supporting the firm’s objectives and priorities.The Candidate:Five or more years of experience in business development gained in a professional services firm (ideally law firm). Ability to develop strong relationships, network and manage stakeholders Experience working in a matrix organisation A professional qualification in marketing, business or a related filed is preferred.
