Head of Campaigns (Small Business Charter)Location: LondonHours: 28 per week9 month FTCSalary: £60-67kWhat is the Small Business Charter?The Small Business Charter (SBC) is an accreditation celebrating world-class business schools across the UK and Ireland that demonstrate excellence and impact in supporting small businesses, student entrepreneurship, and their local economies.Job purpose: This is a great opportunity to work on a nationwide advocacy campaign designed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Small Business Charter. In this busy and wide-ranging role, you will lead and coordinate our work across all aspects of the campaign – research management, asset development, events, stakeholder engagement, PR and public affairsAbout the role: As the Head of Campaigns, you will be responsible for overall project management, development and delivery of the Small Business Charter 10th Anniversary Campaign which will run from 18th June 2024 to mid June 2025.You will work closely with member business school representatives and senior leaders, SBC Management Board members and a wide range of colleagues across the organisation to ensure effective co-ordination of this 10th Anniversary Campaign.You will have full responsibility for delivery of a distinct programme of events, development of supporting research projects and key collateral and overall management of stakeholder engagement.You will work closely with the SBC Events Liaison Officer, SBC Junior Marketing Manager, Executive Director, SBC/CEO, Head of PR & Public Affairs, Head of Events, Head of Research & Policy, Marketing & Communications Manager and the SBC Relationship Manager.You will also need to take a hands-on role where there are gaps in resource, or coach and provide feedback where the team’s skills are evolving. You will also play a critical role in rolling out the stakeholder strategy for the campaign, ensuring that a library of up-to-date assets is available for all national and regional stakeholders.Responsibilities:Campaign strategy & management:Working with the CEO and Deputy CEO, Director of External Relations to finalise the campaign plan and set KPIs.Ensuring each channel is fully maximised, the brand and messaging is consistently applied, and campaigns are delivered on time and budget.Developing a reporting mechanism for SBC Board members and internal colleagues.Event strategy:Project management of a range of events and working closely with the event colleagues and member business school hosts to ensure that each event is delivered professionally and to a high degree of success and impact.Working with senior colleagues and board members to manage the development of content for all events.Working with marketing, PR and public affairs colleagues and host business schools to target audience engagement.Assets development:Working with senior colleagues and board members to develop the relevant assets to support the campaign including research reports, campaign updates and other such materials.Marketing and PRWorking with marketing and PR colleagues to direct all member and stakeholder communications, including the press and social media campaigns.Advocacy StrategyWorking with senior and public affairs colleagues and members of the SBC board to maximise the advocacy opportunities within the campaign.Working with the Public Affairs & PR Manager to deliver enhanced stakeholder engagement.Please send your CV and Cover Letter if you are interested!
