The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland has an exciting opportunity to join the senior team as our Head of Communications and Engagement.



You’ll be creating impactful content and campaigns to support the Police and Crime Commissioners priorities which include the Violence Reduction Network (VRN).



As Head of Communications and Engagement, you will ensure that effective and creative outcome-focused communications connect with our communities, building trust and confidence and enabling the PCC to engage with the public.



You’ll be responsible for developing the OPCC and VRN’s strategic approach to all communications and engagement and providing communications advice on a wide range of issued to the PCC, Deputy PCC and Senior Leadership Team.



This is an exciting role, where you’ll be part of the team supporting policing, criminal justice and community safety issues, using your skills and knowledge to make a difference to the communities we support.



This role is based at Leicestershire Police HQ in Enderby, which the option for hybrid working. You will be joining a small, dedicated team supported by an expert external consultant for specialist support that delivers on a diverse range of proactive and reactive communications and engagement activity.
