DAY RATE c.£700 £850p/d LANCASHIRE 2/3 days per weekOur client, a market leading brand are seeking an interim Head of Compliance to lead and play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory adherence and maintaining the highest standards of compliance. Reporting to the CRO, you will play an integral role in ensuring the company meets its regulatory obligations whilst working with key stakeholders to help enable the firm to meet its commercial ambitions.The Head of Compliance position is a key leadership role within the organisation and the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance strategies, managing regulatory relationships, and fostering a culture of compliance throughout the company.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and oversee the implementation of compliance policies and proceduresLead and manage the compliance teamConduct regular risk assessments and compliance auditsProvide expert advice on regulatory matters to senior managementLiaise with regulatory bodies and manage relationships with key stakeholdersRequired knowledge and experience:Extensive experience in a senior compliance role within an FCA environment (Consumer Lending would be advantageous)In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and legislationExperience in an SMF16 role would be beneficial but not essentialStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProven track record in implementing effective compliance programmes
