Meraki Talent’s Financial Services client are looking for a Head of Compliance to join their team in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding team and for this individual to play lead role in the function’s growth and development in over the coming years.
Responsibilities of the Head of Compliance:
-Responsibility for all compliance, regulatory, risk, and governance activity
-Put compliance at the centre of all aspects of the business to ensure excellent customer outcomes
-Hold SMF16/SMF17 responsibilities
-Broad role ranging across compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, financial promotions, financial crime, training & competence
Background of the Head of Compliance:
-Demonstrable experience in compliance at manager or head of level
-Strong experience within the financial services sector
-Ideally experience within a wealth management or financial planning setting
