We are a high-achieving secondary academy in Hertfordshire, seeking an inspirational Head of Computer Science to lead our department from January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to shape the direction of the Computer Science curriculum and drive the development of digital literacy and programming skills across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing the Computer Science department


• Delivering high-quality teaching and learning across KS3-KS5


• Developing and implementing innovative curriculum strategies


• Mentoring and supporting staff within the department


• Ensuring high academic standards and student progress


• Promoting the use of technology and coding skills throughout the school

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


• Proven experience teaching Computer Science at KS3-KS5
