Our business has three divisions - an Academy Division that is responsible for our Accredited Undergraduate and Post Graduate Sales degrees, A Consulting Division that focuses on designing and delivering bespoke sales transformation programmes for our clients and Consalia Digital that provides a developing range of Online sales courses and special sales applications. As a recognised thought leader in sales we have been on the UK Government’s Trail Blazer team to set the standards for sales and sales leadership apprenticeships in the UK, have co-founded the International Journal of Sales Transformation and with our clients won internationally recognised sales awards. We continue to invest in the growth of the company and are ready now to expand our sales consulting practice.
The Role:The Head of Consulting Practice (a new role) will be a crucial part of Consalia's leadership team, reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Head of Sales, Head of Marketing and the Academy Director. The Head of Consulting will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic vision for the sales consulting practice which focuses on our clients’ sales transformation initiatives supported by the design and delivery of bespoke development programmes. This role involves driving revenue and growth objectives, maximizing sales opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality consulting services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of consulting methodologies and workshop facilitation, and a proven track record of achieving business growth through personal sales activities. Whilst our HQ is SW London, we have a flexible working policy, we would expect the HofC to work at the HQ 2 days a week but subject to off-site consulting assignments. We expect that more time will be HQ based in the first 6 months. Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the strategic vision for the consulting practice based on the 4-5 year growth objectives set by the board. Identify and pursue growth opportunities to expand the practice. Align the practice’s goals with the overall objectives of Consalia. 2. Revenue and Growth Development: Maximize sales opportunities for all Consalia solutions within consulting clients across all business areas. Develop product and service mix solutions to achieve growth. Create a customer segmentation strategy to drive growth. Establish leading and lagging indicators to meet growth aspirations. 3. Client Engagement and Sales: Utilise SalesForce (CRM) and financial management systems to manage the business. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Achieve personal and team sales revenue target focusing on net new names and whitespace account development from our existing client base. 4. Team Management and Resource Allocation: Identify and allocate subject matter experts (SMEs) and project team members (associates) for consulting delivery projects. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing consulting teams with associates and inhouse
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture. Manage resource strategy to meet long-term goals. 5. Collaboration and Operational Management:
Collaborate with the Head of Sales and Marketing to co-develop demand generation activities, including campaigns and events. Participate in sales conversations and pitches with clients. Support or lead large pursuit projects in coordination with the Head of Sales. Attend and contribute to Operational Management team meetings. 6. Consulting Delivery: Achieve circa 40- 50% billable time on delivery of workshops, peer coaching, and consulting assignments. Monitor and manage the financial performance of the consulting practice. 7. Performance Monitoring: Work with team members to create KPIs to support sales growth. Develop management dashboards to monitor the progress of the consulting practice. 8. Brand Development: Identify speaking opportunities to develop and enhance the Consalia brand. Engage in the creation and distribution of Thought Leadership content.Qualifications:POST GRADUATE advanced relevant degree preferred such as MBA OR MSc Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or sales transformation consultancy, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of successfully leading sales transformation projects and driving business growth. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint for sales pitches and Excel Experience in use of data analytics – Tableau/Business Objects Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team. Experience with business development and client acquisition.
