My client are a well known Bank based in Oman. They are currently undergoing a significant transformation and are looking to increase their offering in a number of areas. As part of that growth, the are in the market for a new Head of Corporate Finance Advisory. The candidate should have relevant 15 yrs. of experience in corporate finance and advisory managing corporate client relationships and accounts. The candidate should be able to lead and build corporate finance advisory business and execute equity and debt transactions. The candidate should also be leading pitching for new business ideas and developments. The ability to speak Arabic would be highly advantageous given the market in which they operate. Key objectives Be part of the growing team involved in financial advisory solutions including of debt syndications, refinancings, restructurings, for companies and/or projects, debt capital markets, equity, equity linked products, Islamic finance and similar transactions. Lead the origination and support the execution of all mandates for the team and business development initiatives and activities Principal responsibilities: P&L responsibility of the business Lead work streams on a broad array of equity & debt corporate advisory and fundraising projects Lead the client and pitch presentations Oversee and lead the preparation of strategy reports, information memoranda and any other documents or reports as appropriate. Demonstrate solid understanding of financial analysis, cash flow modeling with sensitivity analysis, analysis of market environment, industry profiles. Able to provide liability side solutions for efficient balance sheet management Network, build and maintain relationships with clients and build international network of banks and advisory companies Lead the marketing and placement of transactions, including preparation of presentations and marketing materials, as appropriate. Lead interactions with banks, regulators and other advisors (such as legal, accounting, technical and similar advisors). Cross sell bank products and services Responsibilities will also include maintaining and building new client relations from a product expertise perspective, expanding the overall franchise by mentoring junior team members and associates preparing and delivering bespoke solutions for clients and deal execution Person specification Bachelor s Degree or Masters in Business Administration or Chartered Accountancy (ACCA) or CFA (pursuing) More than 15 years of relevant experience If you are interested in the role, please respond to the advert
