Head of DataRemote / Birmingham office Up to £100k DOE + Bonus We are recruiting for a Head of Data to join a small, successful IT consultancy who are experiencing exponential growth.They specialise in providing the latest data and cloud technologies for a multitude of clients across the UK and Ireland, with plans to expand further including the US. You will be joining a company which is on an exciting journey, building their own data analytics platform for their clients.Why join?Great benefits - 10% bonus, introducing equity scheme, company trips etc.Join the business at an early stage and help continue driving growthExciting role building out products and solutions within a Head of Data roleRemote first role with travel to client sites and their Birmingham office roughly 1 day per monthPart of the role requires the ability to drive the end-to-end design, own implementation and get a SaaS product to market.This opportunity will suit an established ‘Head of’ or Data professional looking to move into a more strategic role to help build out their Products and Solutions.This role will be a member of the executive team, responsible for designing and implementing intelligent data solutions to meet business objectives and company strategy. You will work with a variety of stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet them. You will be responsible for developing their data strategy and supporting capabilities, including building out a high caliber team.Required Skills:Proven experience in a data leadership roleExperience in both Data Analytics AND EngineeringAbility to create and deploy innovative and scalable data solutions for clientsStrong technical expertise in data warehousing, statistical modelling, data mining, machine learning, and visualisationProficiency in data analytics languages such as SQL, Python, and R or similarExperience with intelligent data stacks like AWS, MS Azure, GCP, Azure Databricks, and Apache Kafka.Ability to work independently and manage multi-disciplinary remote teamsThis is remote first role with travel to client site and their Birmingham office roughly 1 day per month.
