This full-service regional law firm is expanding its Residential Conveyancing team and is looking for a Head of Department to lead its growth. In addition to a competitive salary the firm offers a comprehensive benefits package and the option to work from home one or two days/ week.

THE ROLE:
The busy conveyancing team undertakes a variety of residential and commercial property work, the majority being residential, and the role will entail managing a full caseload of matters including sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfer of equity and lease extensions. Experience of acquisitions and sales of businesses and refinancing would be beneficial.
The appointed candidate will manage, and be supported by, a team of five Conveyancing Solicitors, will generate fees, and engage in business development.
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate must have an in-depth understanding of how the residential conveyancing and commercial property processes work and have experience in dealing with matters quickly and cost effectively.
Experience of, or a desire to lead and manage a department is essential as is business acumen.
This role is well suited to a confident, experienced individual with a desire to progress to Partner level.
