Head of DevOps Security

Head of  Cloud and DevOps Security - 100,000 - 130,000 – ManchesterWe’re partnered with a leading UK brand who is actively growing their Security practise and moving from an outsourced model to build their own Security capability internally in the business. This role will be based out of their offices in Manchester (3-4 days a week onsite) and this hire will play a critical role in bringing information security best practises to all DevOps activities across the business. The primary focus is to build a strong Cloud and DevOps Security capability whilst collaborating withal technical teams across the business.The ideal candidate will come from a DevSecOps technical background whilst also have a strong strategic outlook. The Head of Dev Ops Security will be responsible for development of robust, secure systems and applications that support the business need while minimising information security risks through “secure-by-design” Dev Ops practices.As the Head of Cloud and DevOps Security you will:Configure and test operating systems, application software and system management toolsCloud security best practice for design, development, monitoring, reporting and continuous improvementCloud security solution designBuilding in configuring delivery environments supporting CICD toolingEssential experience requirements for the Head of Cloud and DevOps Security: Proven track record operating within a technical capacity developing DevSecOps servicesStrong leadership skills with experience in leading and working collaboratively within multi-disciplined teamsAbility to juggle both technical and strategic responsibilitiesAn ability to manage and inspire diversely located team members to focus on common goals and timelinesPrevious experience managing service providers / external vendorsTo discuss this exciting opportunity in more detail, please APPLY NOW for a no obligation chat with your VIQU Consultant.
