Title: Head of Digital Transformation Type: Permanent Package: Up to £66,537 + Excellent benefits Location: High Wycombe 2-3 days weekly. Overview: We are currently partnered with a leading higher education institution who are looking for a Head of Digital Transformation to join the team. This is an exciting time to join the company with a lot of investment plans across IT and Digital over the next 5 years. You will be responsible for the co-ordination and management of the portfolio of technical and digital transformation initiatives which includes system implementations, system upgrades, infrastructure projects and academic application developments ensuring all projects are being delivered to time, quality, and cost. Responsibilities: Assist with strategic planning of change programs and projects to support the University's priorities. Design, implement, and maintain an annual planning cycle and project portfolio management framework. Oversee project identification, prioritization, approval, and initiation to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Manage the change function in coordination with change boards to ensure proper appraisal and approval of changes. Oversee project management, working closely with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and quality delivery. Maintain and report on a balanced project delivery plan, including schedule, resourcing, budget, strategic fit, and risks. Manage the business partner function to interface between departments for strategy development, solution discovery, service improvement, risk management, and relationship management. Develop policies and processes for effective change and project delivery. Provide specialist advice on digital project management, governance, and benefits realization. Coordinate multi-skilled virtual teams and manage technical resources for on-time, budget-compliant project delivery. Collaborate with leadership to manage the budget, seeking efficiencies and performance improvements. Play a key role in incident management, deputising for the Director in major incidents or crises. Comply with relevant legislative and other requirements in all working practices. Perform additional duties as required. Line management responsibilities, including recruitment, performance management, professional development, motivation, health & safety, and wellbeing. Perform supervisory duties, including motivating and supporting team members, providing direction and feedback, and ensuring adequate staffing cover. Must Haves: Proven experience of leading the delivery of IT and Digital Transformations at project, programme, and portfolio level. Experience within line management and motivating teams for successful delivery. Project Management Professional Qualification i.e. PMP/ Prince2/ PMI Excellent knowledge of PPM processes, governance and best practices. Knowledge and experience of business analysis and systems analysis. Excellent communication, internally and externally, at all levels. Ability to resolve conflicts with a solution driven approach. Experience of working within a higher education environment or similar (preferred). #J-18808-Ljbffr
