The company

A forward thinking and progressive college are expanding their team and have multiple site locations where they operate from.

The role

They are looking for an experienced Head of Engineering Apprenticeships to join the team and take overall responsibility for the department. They are keen to add an experienced hire in a Senior position

You will take responsibility for:

• The outcome of student's apprenticeships and providing them with a good quality experience during their course
• Line management of staff within your department
• Effective planning of all course material for the duration of the course and ensure it is of a good standard
• Awarding body compliance and working well with internal and external partners to ensure that key metrics are met
• Monitoring the quality of the course throughout it's delivery and making improvements as and when required

What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• Level 4 qualification within the subject area or a related field
• Experience managing apprenticeships or work-based learning
• Effective leadership and communication skills

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• Assessor A1 Award.
• A recognised teaching qualification
• A recognised Internal Verifier qualification
• A recognised management qualification

What is on offer

On offer is the chance to join a forward thinking and progressive college. A full time position offering a salary of �47,000 with up to 47 days of holiday, split across 35 days pro rate annual leave, bank holidays and 4 college closure days. There is also various training opportunities throughout the business and the option to join the health cash plan.
