Title: Head of Engineering in London!Introductory Paragraph:We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our client's IT sector in the role of Head Engineer. Our client is a leading technology firm based in the heart of London, known for their innovative solutions that have revolutionised various industries.Key Responsibilities:As head engineer, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:-Providing leadership within engineering department-Managing projects timelines ensuring they are completed on time.-Collaborating with cross-functional teams-Evaluating technical feasibility-Conducting product development testingRequirements:To be considered for this position you must meet these requirements:-Leadership skills - ability to lead engineers towards project completion goals while maintaining morale and productivity levels.-Have hands-on experience building complex software systems from scratch,-Knowledgeable about cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP)-Good understanding microservices architecture patterns & containerisation technologies such as Docker/KubernetesAdditional Details:The successful candidate should expect three days onsite work per week in central London whilst also having remote working capabilities.If selected, we offer competitive salaries alongside an opportunity to grow together!Specialist Staffing Group is an equal opportunity employer.
