They are a mid-sized institution, known for their dedication to preserving and showcasing a diverse array of cultural and historical artefacts. Job Description Overseeing all financial operations within the museum Managing budget planning and implementation Creating and presenting financial reports to stakeholders Ensuring financial compliance and risk management Leading and developing the finance team Collaborating with other department heads to align financial and organisational goals Advising on strategic financial planning Representing the museum in financial negotiations and discussions The Successful Applicant A successful Interim Head of Finance should have: A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Extensive experience in financial management, particularly within a museum or similar institution Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing a team Excellent budgeting and financial reporting skills Experience in strategic planning and financial forecasting Strong negotiation skills and a diplomatic approach to financial discussions What's on Offer Competitive daily rate of £540 to £660 The opportunity to work in a renowned London museum A supportive and collaborative work environment 2-3 days per week in the Central London based office We welcome all interested candidates who are passionate about finance and museums to apply.
