Job Description REF: PA53299 Job Title: Head of Finance Industry: Tech-Enabled Travel Business Employment Type: Permanent Location: Central London / Hybrid Salary Guide: £80,000 - £100,000 + Benefits Our client is a tech-enabled travel business offering multi-day, complex and often bucket list round trips. Their software allows them offer on-demand packaging and live pricing to assist in cost effective and multifaceted group tours in more than 100 countries worldwide. Head-quartered in Germany, they are still founder-led and are currently undertaking their first round of funding. They have now launched their international division, based in London with a focus on expansion in the UK and the US. Description To help facilitate this expansion, our client is looking to make their first internal hire in finance. Reporting to the CEO, with a dotted line to the founder, the Head of Finance will play a critical role in establishing effective processes and controls whilst playing a key role in decision support to help drive growth. You will function as the financial and strategic business partner to the CEO with responsibility for all areas of finance. Also, key will be the ability to successfully manage existing relationships with advisors such as auditors, tax consultants, capital advisors and banks along with sourcing and building new relationships. You will also be required to assist in special projects, such as further fundraising rounds in the future. Skills The successful candidate for this Head of Finance role will be a qualified accountant with prior experience in the travel and related sectors. Experience in an early-stage, high growth company would be advantageous as would exposure to or leading fundraising rounds. In addition, proficiency in German would be a big advantage but it s not a pre-requisite. Of significant importance is a self-starting work ethic synonymous with a rapidly growing, dynamic business as well as the ability to lead and manage change.
