Key Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) with a solid background in management accounting.
Ability to bridge financial accounting and commercial finance, serving as the essential link in the accounting function.
A hands-on approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
Some line management experience.

The Role:
Based in their London head office, the position requires office presence at least three days a week. You will manage a team with three direct reports, each overseeing a team of three, totaling nine individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts for all UK divisions, with initial submission and variance analysis to the FP&A Director.
Own cost reporting, collaborating closely with the FP&A Director and Finance Director to align with Group policies and business plans.
Ensure on-time month-end reporting, conduct first-level reviews of divisional results, and enhance reporting accuracy in partnership with the FP&A team.
Oversee balance sheet reporting, including reconciliations and commentary on monthly movements.
Maintain a robust control framework, proposing updates for review with the Group Accountant and Finance Director to ensure compliance with the approval matrix.
Ensure transactions adhere to relevant accounting standards and support the rollout of new accounting and reporting packages.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and lead the integration of M&A into the group reporting workflow.
Manage and develop a team of 10 (direct/indirect reports), continuously assessing skills and technical capacity to support company growth plans.
Collaborate with the Finance Director and CFO on project work.

Requirements:
Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
Strong management accounting experience
Demonstrated career stability with clear progression
Some team management experience
Ability to work in London three days a week
