The role: Building on our continued success, we are looking for a Head of Finance to join our team in Waterloo Station, London! Our brand-new Head of Finance will report to our Finance Director and will provide leadership for the NRC Group finance activities including statutory filings and tax compliance, financial accounting, external and internal audit and reporting, business planning & analysis, and financial shared services. The role will have ownership of the group financial policies and assurance of process compliance and systems development. Key Accountabilities include: Lead and develop the central finance team to build a resilient finance function, which will support the needs of a growing professional services business. Responsible for external and internal reporting, including consolidation and audit of the group s results and the coordination of subsidiary statutory accounts, their audit and tax compliance. Management of financial control processes and balance sheet reconciliations, to ensure compliance with group financial policies. Management of the treasury processes including cashflow forecasting ensuring all bank account balances are sufficient to meet on-going commitments and short-term and medium-term obligations. Support with long-term operating cashflow targets, including analysis of currency hedging. Development and management of NRC s ERP system. Management of purchase-to-pay processes with specific responsibility for insurance and property arrangements; and ownership of finance policies. The post holder will be expected to deputise for the Finance Director as and when required. Essential skills: Full membership of relevant professional body ACA/ACCA. Technically strong with excellent post-qualification experience and exposure to international consolidations, treasury, and overseas tax laws. Experience in successful leadership of a central finance team including shared service functions. Experience of working in a group finance function at an international professional services group. Successful development and management of management information tools such as Power BI. Involvement in the delivery of system change initiatives including ERP roll-out.
