Head of Finance – Fareham

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Venture Recruitment Partners are collaborating with a market leading SME targeting substantial growth within the next 3-5 years, to recruit a Head of Finance who will form part of the senior leadership team during an exciting period for the business.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee Group accounts and investments, leading, developing and motivating a small finance team, shaping the function as appropriate.
• Continuously seek to identify opportunities to automate and develop processes, in addition to developing the utilisation of the accounting software.
• Own and develop consolidated budgeting and reporting of the Group’s financial performance, reporting to internal and external stakeholders as required.
• Manage and maximise cash flow, ensuring sufficient working capital is available to support the growth of the Group;
• Business Partner with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure commercial insight is maximised and contractual risks are reduced.

About you:

• Full qualification ACA, ACCA or CIMA is essential.
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ operating within a finance leadership role.
• Experienced working in a hands-on, collaborative, SME environment.
• A proven track record of process / system development and automation.
