Head of Fundraising

Percival are excited to be working exclusively with the Ruth Strauss Foundation to help them appoint a new Head of Fundraising. The post holder will work with the Chief Executive and growing team to help deliver on a new strategy aimed at growing the organisations impact. The Ruth Strauss Foundation was founded in early 2018, after Ruth Strauss, wife of Sir Andrew Strauss the former England cricket captain, was diagnosed with an incurable lung cancer that affects non-smokers. The Ruth Strauss foundation provides emotional support for bereaved families, raises awareness of and funds research into non-smoking related lung cancers.Title: Head of FundraisingSalary: £55,000 – £60,000 per annumWorking Pattern: Full TimeContract Type: PermanentLocation: Hybrid, LondonThe organisation has built up a fund over the last three years that they are now deploying into bereavement services and into medical research. The post holder will be responsible for building on the £2.5 million of current income by further developing their major donor, trust and individual giving income streams with new investment.They are looking for a senior fundraising with experience of developing and delivering a fundraising strategy focused on building income from major donors, individual giving, trusts and private companies.
