Head of Group Finance - M&A

Gresham Hunt are pleased to present a new-to-market role with a highly acquisitive market-leading insurance firm. This is a hybrid role to be based out of the London office and would suit first/ second movers from TAS teams within practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial due diligence, financial analysis and performance monitoring of Group-wide M&A activities, including leading internal Financial Due Diligence assignments for smaller acquisitions, managing external advisors to deliver due diligence assignments for larger acquisitions, pre and post-acquisition business performance reviews. In this role, you will play a pivotal part of the Group's growth strategy through supporting all new and historical business acquisitions and investments, and through driving M&A insight and best practice across the Group. Furthermore, you will also support the Group's Senior Finance Team and Board in making commercial decisions by preparing financial analyses of acquisitions and drawing out commercial insight. The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial and commercial, a self-starter with the ability to work independently.
