Job Description Head of Group Finance 1-2 Days in office. £115,000 - £125,000 + 15% Bonus and Exceptional Benefits The scope, progression, and potential of this role are very exciting. We Do Group is delighted to be managing an exclusive search to find a new Head of Finance for a well-known and rapidly expanding global business based in East London (PE-backed, Global, blue-chip company & hybrid working). This role would report directly to a world-class CFO and would take ownership of the finance function - including accounting and reporting through to FP&A and Finance Business Partnering. This organisation is a global market leader; they truly invest in their people and have a very forward-thinking and inclusive culture. We are looking for a strong Head of Finance, someone who has ideally worked in a group reporting role for a global business at some point. We need a technical grounding with a commercial mindset; someone from audit who has developed from accounting into FP&A. This is essentially a Finance Director role - it would therefore suit someone who is already a Head of Finance / Financial Controller / Finance Manager; someone who can speak to accounting and FP&A. We need a bright and fun accountant who can ideally tick the following boxes: Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent) Experience in financial reporting FP&A knowledge Fast track career to date with aspirations to become a Finance Director quickly The Role The successful Head of Finance is likely to take responsibility for the following: Leading all FP&A and monthly reporting Helping drive a world-class reporting function - budgets, forecasts, and planning Overseeing the preparation and presentation of the financial / statutory reporting Leading all group accounting and global consolidation Driving a culture of business partnering and insightful analysis Leading the audit process including the relations with the external auditors Contributing to the strategic planning and development of the wider business Driving continual improvement around processes, risk, and systems Helping build world-class reporting through model building Overseeing Tax and Treasury Building and maintaining a best-in-class cash flow forecast Leading and developing a brilliant finance team Managing processes across a global business, linking in with country finance teams Supporting the CFO and CEO on strategic projects and ad hoc work Your Profile We are looking for an ambitious Head of Finance, Controller, or Finance Manager; someone with aspirations of being a Finance Director. This role will manage group reporting and FP&A, so we need someone who can understand both. £120,000 - £130,000 + 15% Bonus and Benefits.
