As a Head of Group Financial Reporting based in our Ripon or Warwick office, you’ll be responsible for:
Lead the delivery of the Group's consolidated financial results and accounts, ensuring high-quality analysis, commentary, and disclosures, while managing key relationships, including auditors.
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of five, driving performance and maintaining a robust control environment.
Act as the centre of excellence for technical accounting, leading change projects for new standards, and managing the Group’s accounting policies and financial reporting systems.
Collaborate across functions (e.g., Treasury, Tax, Legal, M&A) to support projects and address accounting issues, ensuring alignment with external reporting developments.
This is a full time, permanent role working Mon-Friday 40 hours a week, with hybrid working (up to 2 days remotely a week.)
Please note this role can be based in either of two main support centres - Warwick or Ripon, travel between both sites is expected.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
ACA-qualified accountant (or equivalent) with experience in a mid-to-large organisation within a group finance function OR from a Top 10 Audit firm with large client experience (including group consolidated statements.
Strong IFRS group consolidation expertise and hands-on experience in modern consolidation tools.
Proven ability to lead financial reporting and drive meaningful changes to reporting systems and processes.
Dynamic leader with a track record of developing high-performing teams and fostering growth.
Excellent communicator capable of translating complex financial concepts into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
