Head of SHEQAnnual Salary: Competitive (to be discussed)Location: DungannonJob Type: Full-timeWe are seeking a Head of SHEQ to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering and maintaining a robust SHEQ performance regime company-wide. This role involves leading all aspects of SHEQ performance, ensuring continuous improvement to our in-house standards, systems, and procedures, implementing legislative compliance, and best practices across our multidisciplinary team.Day-to-day of the role:Provide strategic leadership and vision in SHEQ for the company's global operations, ensuring compliance in all areas.Deliver and maintain a SHEQ change programme to develop a positive culture across the organisation.Engage and support directors and managers to create and maintain a vibrant health and safety culture.Implement initiatives, campaigns, and new processes to drive continual improvement of safety, health, environment, and quality.Develop and use metrics to measure and drive improvement in the business, setting KPIs for the SHEQ team.Develop, review, and update all SHEQ strategies, policies, procedures, and documentation.Lead the certification process for ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards.Manage and lead all incident investigations and ensure effective inspection and internal audit plans.Provide direct leadership to the company's SHEQ team.Develop, monitor and report on annual budgets for SHEQ.Prepare regular reports on operational SHEQ performance.Liaise with external bodies and stakeholders, including regulatory and professional organisations.Required Skills & Qualifications:NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) Level 6 in Occupational Safety and Health.ISO Internal Auditor (desirable).10 years' experience in an operational SHEQ role, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior SHEQ role.Thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable ISO and/or OSHA standards.Full understanding of legal HSE policy and guidelines.Ability to translate strategic goals into objectives and pragmatic plans for the business.Natural leadership style with the ability to motivate, inspire and drive a culture of continuous improvement.Willingness to travel internationally (as required).Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Proven analytic, planning, and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.Benefits:Health Cash PlanHealth InsurancePensionLife AssuranceDiscounted High Street, Gym Membership, and InsuranceLong Service AwardsSocial EventsCycle to Work and Tech Scheme
