We are a thriving secondary school located in the heart of Hounslow, committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive and inclusive environment for both students and staff. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Head of HR to join our team and lead our Human Resources department.

Job Description: As the Head of HR, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR practices and processes. You will support the school’s strategic objectives, ensure compliance with relevant legislation, and promote a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the school’s goals.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process for teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and school policies.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs.
  • Coordinate professional development and training initiatives.
  • Maintain HR records and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and well-being.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably within the education sector.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.
