Head of ICT

We’re looking for a Head of ICT to join our client. 
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing ICT operations, driving digital transformation, and ensuring secure and efficient systems for residents and employees.

Your Role:

\n
• \nLead the ICT strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
\n
• \nManage a £1 million+ ICT budget, delivering value-for-money solutions.
\n
• \nDevelop and implement ICT policies, ensuring compliance with best practices.
\n
• \nProcure and oversee contracts for software, hardware, and telecommunications.
\n
• \nEnsure data security, backups, and risk management across all systems.
\n
• \nLead digital transformation projects, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption.
\n
• \nBuild strong relationships with external partners, housing organisations, and councils.
\n
• \nProvide expert advice to the Executive Team on ICT developments and procurement.
\n
• \nManage a high-performing ICT team, fostering a culture of excellence.
\n

What We’re Looking For:

\n
• \nProven experience leading ICT teams within housing, local government, or similar sectors.
\n
• \nStrong knowledge of IT systems, digital transformation, and risk management.
\n
• \nExperience managing large ICT budgets and procurement processes.
\n
• \nExcellent project management skills, with the ability to drive change initiatives.
\n
• \nStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
\n
• \nRelevant IT qualifications (e.g., ITIL, Prince2, or equivalent experience).
\n
