My client are an expanding and well financed IT MSP provider. As a result of growth they require a new role of Head of Infrastructure and Security to be filled. The role requires the following skills and competencies: Technical Design / Support Review and recommend new systems building business cases and following the process through design, build and implementation that improve the end user experience, de-risk future service strategy and increases ROI Reviewing internal systems / architecture and ensuring that those systems function together in the most automated way. Technical representative at Operational Reviews for the Target Operating Model Quality Gates Provide 3rd Line technical support to the engineering team as and when required to support the Incident management processes. Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc as requested) technical DD Take planning and technical lead on any acquisition ensuring that systems are integrated, process is defined, and employees are trained. Analysing the threats and risks that face the organisation and developing solutions for them Acting as the focal point for any security breaches/investigations, recommending the best course of action in consultation with Head of IT Security Oversee enterprise security system Implement new strategies, monitor activity, and target potential cyber threats Establish and maintain network performance. Pre-Sales Support Support the sales team to meet with customer representatives and assist the customer in identifying and assessing its business and system requirements. Assist sales team in writing, preparation, and delivery of solution proposals, RFIs, and RFPs to the customer. Ensure the design of effective, consistent, reusable and fit for purpose solutions. Provide technical expertise to understand requirements and translate to designs. Participate and lead technical workshops with the client. Provide technical direction to sales force on the design, implementation, and upgrade technologies.
