CENTRAL LONDON
PERMANENT ROLE
£120,000 BASIC SALARY
Role Overview:
Morgan Philips Specialist Recruitment is presently representing a fast growing, Central London based retail business in their search for a Head of Legal. The successful candidate will own a broad, hands on legal role, will be responsible for the company’s relationship with outside counsel, will be a key advisor to company C-Suite and will take an active role in the scaling of the business moving forward.
Key Accountabilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts and agreements.
Work closely with senior management advising on the legal aspects of key business decisions and projects.
Oversee and maintain the company’s intellectual property portfolio
Handle any matters in the field of dispute resolution the company may face
Advise the senior management on regulatory compliance.
Lead the business’ company secretarial function.
Handle any other ad-hoc legal matters that may arise in areas such as employment law, data protection, compliance and corporate governance.
