Head of Legal Tech sector Our client is looking for a Head of Legal to lead its in-house function. The role will report into the COO. You will need in-house legal experience in the tech/enterprise software sector in order to be considered. With high-profile projects and industry awards under its belt, this company is at the forefront of digital finance transformation. Key Responsibilities - Legal Advice. Provide strategic legal counsel to executives and management on various business issues. - Contract Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements. - Compliance: Ensure company operations comply with relevant laws and regulations. - Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks. - Litigation Management: Oversee legal disputes and coordinate with external law firms. - Corporate Governance: Advise on corporate governance matters and ensure regulatory compliance. - Intellectual Property: Manage and protect the company's intellectual property. - Employee Relations: Provide legal guidance on employment-related matters. - Liaison: To instruct, manage and liaise with external law firms where required. - Reporting: into the COO. Required Skills and Qualifications - Ex perie nce as an in-house lawyer in the technology/enterprise software sector is required - Education: Post graduate legal qualification - Experience: Proven experience in commercial, corporate, and business law. - Licensing: Admission as a Solicitor of England & Wales or to the bar in a relevant jurisdiction. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Leadership: Strong leadership and team management abilities. - Strategic Acumen: Exceptional judgment and strategic thinking. - Collaboration: Highly collaborative with cross-functional exec teams. - Agility: Adaptable and able to manage multiple legal issues simultaneously.
