Exciting Opportunity: Head of Logistics (EMEA)

Location – Greater London (3 days per week)

Salary – up to £90,000 + car allowance + bonus

We are thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity to partner with a leading retailer on the search for a Head of Transport (EMEA). This pivotal role offers a chance to shape and optimise the logistics operations across the EMEA region, reporting to the Director.

In this high-impact position, you will spearhead initiatives to enhance truck and pallet utilisation, drive improvements in the OTIF (On-Time In-Full) metric, and lead a talented team towards operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities for the Head of Logistics (EMEA)


  • Oversee inbound, outbound, and customer logistics operations across the EMEA region. Manage a dynamic team responsible for everything from Far East inbound shipments to final customer deliveries.
  • Develop and manage contracts with suppliers and partners, setting ambitious KPIs and targets to drive performance throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Determine priorities for product flows based on market demands, and manage both short-term and long-term capacity planning.
  • Partner with the Logistics Director on strategic analysis and projects aimed at boosting logistics performance, service quality, cost efficiency, and business growth.
  • Lead cost-to-service reporting initiatives and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Conduct thorough network analyses to derive actionable insights, develop innovative solutions, and execute impactful improvements.
  • Foster a high-performing and engaged team environment through strong people management and leadership.

Experience required for the position of Head of Logistics (EMEA) -


  • Proven track record in Supply Chain and Logistics with a focus on transport roles.
  • Experience working within the EMEA region for a global business with a complex, omni-channel supply chain.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and achieve results in a cross-functional, cross-cultural environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for the role.
  • Degree qualification preferred.
