Head of Market Risk - Commodity Trading (Energy)

A leading energy trading house is looking to add an experienced market risk professional to their risk function. The firm has had consecutive years of exceptional growth, building out new trading desks and expanding product lines. The Head of Market Risk will sit above 4 risk analysts and report directly to the CRO. The function focuses on supporting the Oil, Gas and Power trading desk. The initial focus will be on producing weekly reports, discussing market activity, and explaining risks for the entire firm. There will be managerial responsibilities as you progress and grow into the role. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in market risk from a commodity house, commodity brokerage or investment bank. Candidates with Python coding and management experience will be strongly preferred.
