Our client, a well known brand in the events industry, seeks a dynamic and experienced Head of Marketing to lead the marketing strategy for a division of their events business as well as delivering excellence across their central marketing functions. This role is pivotal in delivering their commercial objectives through innovative and effective marketing initiatives.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all marketing operations and overseeingexceptional and measurable high ROI lead generation, acquisition and retention multi-channel marketing campaigns in close partnership with their sales teams.Responsibilities include:Developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive business growth, taking responsibility for end-to-end customer journeys for each customer group.Align marketing objectives with overall business goals, ensuring cohesive and targeted campaigns.Ensure all aspects of revenue generating operations are optimised and embedded into customer journeys.Oversee all aspects of marketing operations, including campaign execution, process optimisation and resource managementLead and mentor the marketing team of 7 direct reports, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.Create and deliver exceptional multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to drive business results.Manage all marketing channels including digital, social media, email, websites, PR, events and traditional media with attribution and metrics across each.Utilise data and analytics and customer feedback and insight to measure and report on campaign performance, ensuring transparency and accountability.Implement robust measurement and reporting systems to track marketing effectiveness and ROI.Work seamlessly with the sales teams to develop high ROI lead generation, acquisition and retention campaigns.Ensure clear measurability and tracing of lead conversion rates.Develop and manage all messaging and narratives for the B2B aspects of the business.Ensure consistency and alignment of the messaging and brand across all marketing and channels.Oversee operational aspects of the corporate central marketing function, delivering best practice with a robust approach to test and learn and streamlined processes.Manage the PR and Comms ensuring positive public relations, crisis management and stakeholder engagement.Manage the in-house creative studio, ensuring effectively managed and prioritised, high-quality production of marketing assets.Candidate must have:Proven experience in a senior B2B marketing role.Experience in the events industry would be very beneficialStrong track record of devising and delivering strategies for multi-channel marketing campaigns with excellent digital experience.Proficiency in data analysis and performance measurement.Excellent leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to manage, motivate and develop a team.Strong collaboration skills.Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities.
